X Rite QA Tools software is a colour quality assurance solution designed to graphically document the measurements of colours against standards. Connected to an X Rite Exact 2 or older Exact 1, digital or measured standards can be loaded from a database and measurements are taken and stored against them.
The system supports Pantone live and the graphical display indicates errors and solutions to colour matching. It is an alternative to the highly successful Color IQC software and is available on a subscription model enabling an inexpensive introduction to storing and reporting on job printing accuracy.
Highlights include a graphical interpretation of the Best Match function, enabling the operator to see the optimum density required to produce the closest delta e match.
