XY Scanning Densitometer / Spectrophotometer.IntelliTrax 2 is X-Rite’s advanced, automated colour management scanning for press-side colour control.

 Ultra-fast, IntelliTrax 2 automatically scans the colour bar of a typical press sheet in less than 15 seconds with the ability to measure special colours, PANTONE® Colours, non-process colours, and paper colour. IntelliTrax 2 instantly reports these results on-screen, so press operators can quickly make adjustments and get to approved colour faster. IntelliTrax 2 is the ideal colour management solution for high-end, high speed printing operations.

The Intellitrax 2 can connect to Printflow Software which enables a closed loop measurement solution. 

The new system can now measure 3mm colour bars and be calibrated with Netprofiler 3 Software.

The X Rite Autoscan consists of an X Rite Exact measuring head connected to an automatic scanning bar. This gives the flexibility of a handheld device with the precision of an automated bar scanner. It can either connect to software to display all densities, lab values and dot gains or to Printflow closed loop software for automatic key adjustment.

Printflow DC expands the benefits of CIP 3 compatibility by combining the DIPS (digital ink preset system) with connectivity to the Autoscan and Intellitrax 2 scanning spectrophotometers from X Rite.

When scans are executed, the scan data is automatically sent to the Printflow DC where it displays both the measured values and the necessary key movements to correct the colour. The data is then transferred directly to the press console which automatically adjusts the ink keys to enable the required colours to be achieved.

Printflow  DIPS (Digital Ink Preset system) fits almost all presses, making your press CIP3 compatible.

Printflow DIPS links your Prepress workflow and your Press console, automatically programming ink key settings for each new job.

Installation is simple and operator training can be done in half a day.

DIPS can turn your older press into a modern production workflow and can be linked at any time with a closed loop colour control system.

EasyTrax is X-Rite’s previous semi-automated color scanning system for producing accurate CMYK and CMYK + 2 color jobs. Available for B1 and B2 presses, EasyTrax comes on a measurement board for easy installation and can be adapted to other after-market consoles. EasyTrax includes a black backing so you can achieve or maintain ISO certification. EasyTrax has the ability to take a scan measurement or spot measurement anywhere on the sheet making EasyTrax the perfect solution for press-side color control for smaller format color presses or for primarily process colour environments.

Ideal for connection to retrofit closed loop solutions such as PrintFlow and ISO accreditation software’s such as Presssign.

EasyTrax has now been superseeded by the Xrite Autoscan.
