The X Rite i1 Pro 3 basic is a Spectrophotometer designed for the linearisation of printers and proofing devices. Proofing Rips supported include EFI, Oris, Apogee X and GMG.
Wide format RIPs are also supported. Please contact us to confirm if your RIP is compatible.
Used in conjunction with Profile creation and editing software such as X Rite i1 Publish, the creation of professional CMYK and RGB ICC profiles can be achieved.
The device can also be used to calibrate digital presses and monitors.
Designed for imaging, print, and textile professionals who need consistency with calibration and profiling capabilities, the i1Pro 3 Plus provides the ability to quickly and efficiently create colour profiles on a wide variety of substrates. As digital printing is now mainstream, imaging professionals need to calibrate and profile to optimise file creation and print accuracy to stand out in the market. The i1Pro 3 Plus can reduce colour variability on many substrates, including vinyl, fabrics, transparent films, speciality photo papers, corrugated, and back-lit, for the highest level of colour accuracy and repeatability. The optional polarisation feature reduces reflections in shadows and highlights, yielding more pleasing colour reproduction.
The new Fiery XF v7.3 provides excellent colour rendering and is the proven industry standard RIP.
In conjunction with TSS Profiling services, supported devices can be can be profiled to press or an ISO standard.
The RIP includes the facility to certify proofs using measurement devices such as the i1 Pro3, and iO3 table and now comes as standard with the colour profiler option enabling the user to create and edit their own iCC profiles.
Driven with the renowned Fiery Command Workstation increases the integration with customers digital Printers.
New improvements include a faster spot colour processing module, a new clean colours mode and more realistic previews using the output profile colour gamut.
The New range of Epson Surecolour printers offer extreme accuracy using the new Epson head technology.
Fast and stable they can be purchased with and without an internal Spectrophotometer. In conjunction with the Fiery XF Proofing RIP most of the Pantone Colour gamut can be achieved and Proofing to the ISO 12647 standard has never been more easily achievable.
Press Sign ISO 12647 accreditation software.
Connected to an X-Rite i1 One Pro 2 Spectrophotometer or an X Rite Exact Scan, the Software enables the self certification to the ISO 12647 standard.
Specifications of CMYK primary ink colour, dot gains, trapping, grey balance and paper white are given for each standard.
By scanning a colour bar with the Eye One or Exact a report is produced with a simple scoring system and suggestions are given for primary CMYK densities and dot gain curve amendments.
The Pro version can accept Data directly from Closed loop press solutions.
NB. Pressign 10 cannot support the new i1 Pro 3 spectrophotometer but TSS still have a number of i1 Pro2 devices available.
The IC Plate 2X is a dotmeter enabling measurement of metal and polyester plates. It is used for the calibration of computer to plate systems and measures dot size to an accuracy of 0.5%
The Gretag Macbeth IC Plate2 X measures and displays conventional dot structure and dot size.
The unit has a very quick response time of 1.5 seconds and the RS232 port allows connection to a printer or our software program VipTab, so that calibration values and pictures can be stored or entered directly into RIP software.
The unit can be upgraded to the advanced version enabling measurements of film and paper and stochastic screening.
Optional Plate quality software is available for the ultimate solution.
